The Messenger Tool is one of our many features that will make your life, and your clients’ lives, easier! Reach out to all of your clients, all in one place. This article will provide a brief overview of how to make the most of this tool.
The Messenger Widget exists on your website to allow your clients to easily communicate with you. The messages they send here will appear in your GoSite dashboard.

To see your Messages: First, log in to your dashboard. Then, click on the “Messenger” tab on the left, as shown below. You also get notifications when you receive new messages (check the bell in the upper right corner).

Responding to Clients’ Messages
If a client messages you through the widget on your website, and you want to send a follow-up or re-engage them, then it’s easy to find that conversation in the Messenger Tool!
First, scroll through the row of messages on the left. Then, select the message you’d like to respond to, as indicated below. You can also search for specific conversations.

Once you have selected your desired conversation, go to “Type a message here” at the bottom to draft your text.

And there you go! Once you send it, your client will receive the message! It’s as easy as that!
If you would like to directly message a client:
To Send a New Message:
- Once you have opened the messenger, you will be able to send messages directly from your dashboard. To send a new message, click on the “Send New Message” in the top right.

- A popup will appear, where you will be able to fill in the details of your message. You can enter a new phone number, or search for previous message threads by phone number. Then, type in or paste your message.

- Finally, press “Send” to send the message over to your client!
Finally, if you would like to change your Auto-Response message, we’ll provide a run-through of how to do so.
First, Click on your Account Settings by going to the top right corner of your dashboard and clicking on your icon.

Scroll to the bottom, until you see “Messenger.” Click on this tab to open your Message settings.

Now, you will be able to see all of your response settings. Go ahead and make any edits you would like, and then press “Update Settings” to save the changes!
